Great show, so much fun, Cinema is in essence now almost entirely reserved for toddlers and themepark fans. I miss the times before the 2010s when the audience was treated on a vast plethora of (sub)-genres. Usually in the mid-budget range (10-40 million). Once animation and themepark movies were niche, one of the many (and often quite enjoyable, especially when you have kids <14 year old) now they have pushed all other genres (perhaps with exception of cheap horror for teens and action for the nostalgia crowd) out of commission. Then again the adult audience has moved to quality series on Netflix and HBO years ago and several recent (quite decent) flops showed us they don't seem to leave their caves anymore (with a few rare exceptions). And to be fair, I feel the same. I love high quality series (re-watched several of them this year, including Deadwood, The Shield, MIndhunter, Rome, Battlestar Galactica and quite some Nordic crime and old BBC book-adaptations and historical stuff (like Henry VIII) and hardly watch 90-120 minutes movies anymore. Dune 2 and Oppenheimer were great though and also thought Furiosa and The Northmen were quite decent. Anyhow keep up the grand work lads !

I'm just watching The Boys for the first time, i'm in season 2 and honestly have no clue which political side this show is supposed to be for or against, i've seen both so far. There's an entire episode and plenty of more dialog dedicated to shitting on Christian conservatives and religion in general, Starlight saying that there is no god etc... But there is also Stormshadow - a feminist, social justice activist from Portland who is actually a murdering racist lunatic. And the whole girls get it done arc pretending that they give a crap about womens rights when they are actually just pandering. Looks like a pretty acurate descripion of leftism to me Obviously there will always be a liberal bias in any mainstream hollywood production but so far it has been rather mild in my opinion. Still enjoying the show in season 2, lets see if i will regret this comment after season 4 😅
